My play The Great Impresario Boris Lermontov Would Like To Invite You To Dinner was published by 1319 Press and is available now!
So many lovely people nurtured this play into what it is now through online readings and development workshops and its first production in Texas and I’m really proud of this culmination of all our hard work. It’d truly mean the world to me if you checked it out, ordered a copy if you’re interested, and passed the link on to anyone else who might be!
The Great Impresario is for:
Anyone who’s had a bad boss that desperately needed you to think they were a good person
People who continue to push towards a better future, even if they’re not sure it exists
Fans of the 1948 Powell and Pressburger film The Red Shoes
Anyone who wants to support “unproduceable” and indie theatre generally (and me specifically)
Actors looking for some sick monologues (and a chance to show off whatever unique skill they want!)
Anyone who’s interested in theatre that feels alive — anything really could happen!
Anyone who likes cool looking books on their bookshelf
You, probably!
The incredible cover was designed by Tom Deja (Bossman Graphics) and it looks SO GOOD. I even made my own little cardboard version of the marionette theater.
That’s it! Thanks for reading, and let me know if you check it out! Here’s another meme for making it this far.
