A sneak peek: Real Life 2022
Join the Arcanists and me at their fundraiser this Saturday to play! đ
In 2016, I went to a brand new performance/experience called the Tarot Reading. It was Halloween, so I dressed like Steven Universe and carried a hamburger backpack and a small page from a notebook - my sacrifice required to enter the performance space. I wonât try to explain it all here, but Tarot was an outstanding experience. I walked away with an envelope of wishes and a deeeeeeep desire to work with everyone involved.
This year, the team behind the (5) Tarot Readings asked me to create an interactive piece based on that sacrifice to present at their fundraiser this Saturday. You can catch the full experience at the fundraiser itself, but I wanted to share a âcharacter sheetâ I made for the piece (itâs 2019-me).
Itâs been a wild ride since 2016 and so many things have changed for me. Iâd love to share a little of that with each of you and explore how you might like to level up in the next three years. Come make a character sheet with me! Youâll even get brunch outta it!
FYI the Tarot folx have made it clear that if you want to come to the fundraiser but the price isnât accessible for you, they can help make it work. Message them on Facebook here, or use their contact form here.
Image description: A somewhat futuristic character sheet that reads âREAL LIFE 2019â at the top. The sheet contains the following sections, filled out.

A mechanical pencil rests on the sheet. Under the sheet, another one peeks out reading âREAL LIFE 2022.â To the left of the papers is a pencil cup holding writing utensils and a small trans flag. To the right of the papers are some small iron on patches with star patterns on them (from the game Heave Will Be Mine).
